Parvalux – electric motor manufacturer

Parvalux is the UK’s largest manufacturer of fractional horsepower electric motors and gearboxes. With over 20 million units installed globally it enjoys a reputation as a specialist supplier to numerous industry sectors, including: healthcare, mobility, leisure, farming, automotive and industrial automation.

Why MVS was brought in

Following a multi-million pound factory development, Parvalux needed to upgrade it’s video conferencing installations in their boardroom and a training room and came to MVS Audio Visual looking for our expertise.

Following a technical site survey we delivered the following solutions.

Two LG 75” professional displays are mounted to the wall using articulating brackets. A Microsoft Teams Room videoconferencing is delivered via Yealink MVC840 room kit. This includes a PTZ camera mounted below the displays at the centre, and two sound bar speakers also installed below each display either side of the camera. Next to the display wall a SY keypad controls the power on/off for both of the displays. At the table, a touch panel enables control of the Microsoft Teams Rooms videoconferencing system. Three wired microphone arrays provide audio input to the videoconferencing system. An HDMI connection enables users to share content to the displays, and a BYOD Extender box (USB-A) for Yealink MTR enables Bring-Your-Own-Meeting (BYOM) functions with the room system. On the external wall of the meeting room, there will be a room booking panel running Microsoft Teams Rooms software in order to control and display booking information for the meeting room.

Training Room

Two LG 86-inch professional displays are mounted to the wall with an SY keypad used to control the room video and audio system power on/off. At the lectern, a USB C connection to enable users to connect devices to the room for local content presentation including video and audio, including extending a laptop output to both of the dual displays. There is also an HDMI connection via a plate in the lectern for local content sharing. Wireless presentation is catered for with a Barco USB-C dongle to enable local video and audio content sharing from anywhere in the space. A wireless microphone system, including one clip-on lapel microphone and one Catchbox cube microphone enables input into the room’s audio system for voice reinforcement. Contained within the lectern is various audio processing equipment including a microphone receiver, DSP and amplifier. In the ceiling, 12 mounted speakers – installed flush with the ceiling tiles – provide audio output for local presentation content and voice reinforcement from the wireless microphones.

We’re proud to bring our AV expertise to support Bournemouth based Parvalux’s growing success

“The company I work for had excellent service from MVS. We initially had a full assessment of our conferencing facilities and were provided with several wide ranging quotations that covered every possible alternative to what we needed. We ended up with a large new TV, and a switching center within our conference room table, allowing adaption to any device that may be used in the room to allow casting directly to the TV We also had a special wall panel with volume controls, and switchable devices to allow connection to our network at all times. Very happy with the service and support provided when we needed some assistance. Cannot fault the products, or service from MVS and would use them again, and recommend them to anyone.”
