Introduction
Head quartered in Cardiff this end customer provides car, home and travel insurance and other insurance products across multiple countries.

Custom boardroom
The existing boardroom setup included multiple displays, ceiling microphones and a Cisco video conferencing codec. MVS was asked to reconfigure the room to work with a Logitech Tap and Dell Optiplex–based solution.
Due to the size of the room and the shape of the boardroom table, the original system was not fit for purpose. The updated design required multiple PTZ cameras, two Shure MXA910 ceiling microphones and two 55” repeater screens to support the main 98” display.
Our custom solution delivers a Microsoft Teams Room system with USB and HDMI connectivity, allowing users to switch easily between native Microsoft Teams meetings and laptop-based video conferencing. This BYOD capability enables seamless participation in Google Meet and Zoom calls when required.
Barco ClickShare was installed to provide simple, wireless content sharing. In addition, a bespoke touch controller was programmed to give users intuitive yet flexible room control, including camera switching — ideal for audience Q&A sessions.

Standard Microsoft Teams Rooms
MVS was also tasked with delivering 28 standardised Microsoft Teams Rooms across the customer’s estate, including offices in Cardiff and Swansea.
As part of the organisation’s migration to Microsoft Teams, it was essential to provide a consistent, high-quality meeting experience in every room.
- Small rooms – 55” Dell monitor with Logitech Tap Small Room Kit
- Medium rooms – 65” Dell monitor with Logitech Tap Medium Room Kit
- All rooms were surveyed to coordinate with the in-house contractor responsible for pre-installation cabling
- Detailed elevations were produced in advance to support slat wall construction
- The project was delivered on behalf of Dell
