Huckletree

Adaptable AV solutions enhancing collaboration across shared workspaces designed for fast-growing and creative businesses.

The Challenge

Huckletree was in the process of building brand new offices in Westminster, Soho and Manchester. They needed AV integration throughout these new locations to fuel their aim of creating future-proof collaborative spaces, that would offer more client-friendly AV systems than their existing sites and systems.

Their customers are paying to use the facilities so the AV solutions required couldn’t be anything less than state of the art.

The three new offices consisted of;

  • 16 medium-large meeting rooms
  • 1 event space
  • General communal areas

Why was MVS chosen?

MVS was invited to tender for the project via an online enquiry form due to our comprehensive and well-established office fit-out services, alongside our existing relationship with Thirdway, who were responsible for the office design and build.

The tender process was highly competitive, but MVS was selected thanks to our competitive pricing and strong industry reputation.

How did we deliver the meeting room AV solution?

Huckletree had a clear vision but required guidance to bring the ideal AV solutions to life. Our team worked closely with Zak Butcher, Operations and Project Specialist at Huckletree, liaising with contractors and refining requirements to ensure the solution aligned with their expectations.

Following several discussions around the most appropriate hardware, we recommended the Crestron Mercury — an all-in-one meeting room solution offering one-touch meeting join with the video conferencing platform of choice.

This system supports wireless presentations, traditional HDMI input, Bluetooth, video conferencing and telephone conferencing. The result was a significant improvement over the outdated systems previously used across other offices.

The solution is touchscreen-based, intuitive to use and compatible with all major platforms including Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet.

The services we provided

  • Crestron Mercury and LG displays in meeting rooms
  • Background music systems throughout communal areas
  • Large-format displays with wireless and HDMI connectivity
  • Audio system for the event space
  • Full project management including design, consultancy, demonstrations, installation and ongoing maintenance and support

What were the challenges?

As the offices were built from the ground up, project timescales were tight. Our team worked closely with construction contractors to stay aligned with build schedules and budgets.

During installation, it was discovered that the Westminster building was protected, introducing additional installation constraints. These challenges were successfully overcome, allowing the project to be delivered on time and to specification.

What Huckletree can do now

“We were delighted to work with Huckletree on the AV integration for their new offices. It’s always exciting to see AV ideas and designs come to life, and we’re really pleased with the results of this project. We hope that Huckletree’s clients enjoy using the new video conferencing solutions that we have installed, and we look forward to continue working with Huckletree in the future.”
