Project overview
MVS has delivered a number of AV projects for GKN, encompassing boardrooms, meeting rooms, town halls and reception spaces. In addition to installation projects, MVS also provides remote monitoring, maintenance, and both remote and onsite support services.
Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams is GKN’s chosen unified communications platform, so a range of Microsoft Teams Rooms solutions have been deployed using Logitech hardware. Logitech Tap provides one-click meeting join, with Logitech Meetup specified for smaller spaces.
LG professional displays are used in both single and dual-screen configurations, with Huddly cameras deployed where required. BYOD is supported via wired HDMI and USB connections at the desk, while Crestron AirMedia enables wireless content sharing.
In larger spaces, Crestron touch panels, QSC audio DSP and Shure MXA910 ceiling microphones are used to meet higher performance demands. Get Joan has been implemented as the room booking system across the estate.
