Introduction
Graffiti, neon lights and camo nets aren’t typical elements of workplace design, however, as this was a new office for award-winning online game developer, DPS Games (formerly Wargaming), “normal” was far from the intention.
The office environment needed to spark creativity but still work logistically – a fine-tuned balance that resulted in some unique areas being developed such as the fully acoustic meeting rooms and gaming areas to allow the team to successfully test developing games. More traditional elements such as fixed desking areas and collaborative workspaces with high tables and soft seating were included, providing the team with an abundance of areas to work from.
When it came to AV, DPS insisted on the best.
The solution we delivered
Town Hall
This stunning and flexible space brings the company together for all-hands meetings, events and breakout sessions, while ensuring remote participants can engage just as effectively.
Using AV over IP, MVS delivered a flexible, high-impact solution centred around a Samsung 130” LED wall.
The space also includes an Aver PTZ camera paired with an Extron SMP11 for video recording, a Bose sound system, Shure microphones, Extron control and Barco ClickShare. This setup gives DPS the freedom to create impact for any type of event or meeting.
Informal collaboration spaces
Video game development requires constant collaboration between multiple teams including design, production, release and management.
To support hybrid daily meetings, MVS equipped eight scrum rooms with 55” LG professional displays and Poly Studio USB bars, integrated with Extron MLC Plus and SW4 USB Pro.
Informal seated and standing breakout areas were also fitted with appropriate AV to support ad-hoc meetings, both in-person and hybrid.
Meeting rooms
Despite the creative workplace environment, traditional meeting rooms are still essential.
From boardrooms through to medium and small meeting rooms, all spaces were configured for BYOD using LG professional displays and Poly Studio USB bars.
The artwork room required extra precision for graphics and video proofing, so MVS installed an 8K LG OLED professional display to ensure every detail could be clearly seen.
Digital signage and AV over IP
To manage and display real-time development progress, MVS installed 15 55” LG professional displays across the site.
Wyrestorm AVoIP was used to simplify management and distribution of signage content.
Meeting room availability is integrated with the booking system, with panels installed outside each meeting room to clearly show room status.

Video games and AV go hand in hand. MVS partnered with DPS Games to deliver an AV installation, which together with the office fit-out, has created an environment that fosters creativity, collaboration and success in a flexible, hybrid and competitive world.
