Introduction
Bicester Motion‘s journey started in 2013 with the acquisition of the former WWII RAF Bicester Bomber Training Station, a site that had fallen into severe disrepair after nearly four decades of neglect. Since then, under Bicester Motion’s stewardship, most of the buildings have been carefully restored or adapted for contemporary business use, and the site is now celebrated by Historic England as a leading example of sensitive and forward-thinking conservation.
Today, Bicester Motion is the UK’s leading destination for the mobility and automotive technology sector, which is home to over 50 specialist businesses, an active airfield, automotive test track, and a thriving events programme. It’s a place where history and innovation sit side by side.
When it came to modernising their meeting room AV, they needed a solution that matched the quality and ambition of the site itself.
The solution we delivered
The Boardroom
The Boardroom received a 75″ Yealink MeetingBoard Pro, providing a large, interactive display. The native Microsoft Teams Rooms integration means meetings can be started and joined easily, while the all-in-one design eliminates the cable clutter of the previous setup. The CTP25 touch panel gives users effortless control over the room without needing to interact with the main screen.

The Clubroom
The Clubroom is a versatile, multi-purpose space used for social gatherings, company-wide meetings, and everything in between. A 65″ Yealink MeetingBoard Pro delivers high-quality video conferencing, whiteboarding, and content sharing, with wireless presentation via a Yealink PA20 dongle so users can easily present content.
This was a particular priority for a room that is used for multiple purposes. The CTP25 touch panel provides the same streamlined control as the Boardroom, keeping the experience consistent across both spaces.

What Bicester Motion can do now
Both spaces now offer a seamless meeting experience. Staff can walk in, launch a Microsoft Teams meeting, wirelessly present content with the Yealink PA20, and collaborate on an interactive display.
To ensure the team felt confident using the new technology from day one, we also delivered user training. This provided staff with a clear understanding of how to launch meetings, present content, and make the most of the system’s collaborative features.
The standardised setup across both rooms means anyone familiar with one space will feel immediately at home in the other. Furthermore, with support for platforms like Zoom, the system is versatile enough for any meeting and any participant.
At a site where the thoughtful integration of old and new is part of the DNA, it felt only right that the technology should meet the same standard.
